At EAC, we pride ourselves on our friendliness, flexibility, attention to detail and academic strengths. Here, you’ll find a warm, supportive environment, both in the school and the classroom. We are a family run college, where the student comes first.  

We believe in teaching real English for real people. We appreciate that every student is unique and our syllabuses allow our experienced and creative teaching staff to plan lessons to suit their students. We use ‘authentic’ English as much as possible - why come to Edinburgh just to use the same course-books you are using at home?

Our social programme is part of the experience and a great way to practice what you’ve been studying in class - making friends with people from other countries and cultures, as well as trying out what you have learned on the local Scottish population.
 
Our people are all language learners themselves. We understand the challenges of learning and speaking a new language, and use our own experiences of living in other countries to help make sure that you have a valuable and memorable stay in Scotland.
